The 30th annual Colorado Brewers’ Festival celebrates its big anniversary with 100+ beers, 50+ Colorado breweries, live music, entertainment, artisan exhibitors, food vendors and more. The festival takes place Friday and Saturday at Canvas Stadium on the Colorado State University campus, overlooking a scenic mountain view. 6.29 – New Belgium’s Birthday Bash
New Belgium Brewing will celebrate its 28th birthday on Saturday by pouring old classics like Sunshine, Mighty Arrow, and Blue Paddle. The brewery in Fort Collins will also have live music from Chris Dismuke from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and birthday cake. New Belgium’s Birthday Bash runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
6.29/6.30 – The Denver Taco Festival
The Denver Taco Festival is a full weekend of fun and food. In addition to featuring the best tacos in the city, the festival will have live music, Lucha Libre wrestling, high-speed daredevil Chihuahua racing, live game shows and much more. General admission tickets (which have sold out for five straight years) as well as Tequila Expo tickets, are available online. The Denver Taco Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Fox Street Compound near I-25 and 38th Ave.
6.29 – Westword Music Showcase
This weekend the Westword Music Showcase returns for a 25th year to Denver’s Golden Triangle. Performers this year include JAUZ, CHVRCHES, Jai Wolf, Bishop Briggs, lovelytheband, Crooked Colours, SHAED, The Knocks, The Wrecks, Slow Caves, YaSi, Jesse Kinch and many more. The festival, which runs from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, is the largest single-day festival celebrating the Denver music scene with dozens of local performers scheduled on two outdoor stages and at eight local venues.
